How to Calculate Percentage

Percentage shows your performance as a proportion of the total possible marks.

Formula: Percentage = (Marks Obtained ÷ Total Marks) × 100

Example Calculation:

If you scored 425 marks out of 500:

Percentage = (425 ÷ 500) × 100
Percentage = 0.85 × 100
Percentage = 85%
